Introduction
Ruthin Future is Ruthin Town Council's community place planning initiative established in 2011. Originally a Beacon for Wales project and winner of a prestigious Action for Market Towns Award in 2012, it since formed the template for National Place Planning exercises across Wales.
In 2018 Ruthin Town Council embarked on Ruthin Future 2 - an update of the plan to help the town face new challenges such as finding viable uses for vacant bank buildings, increasing town centre footfall and ensuring a sustainable future for the facilities and amenities the town offers for it’s community. Now each Spring Ruthin Town Council hold a Ruthin Future update, to engage with the community, understand their ambitions and concerns, and to update them on the initiatives underway or proposed.
Ruthin Future 2022 provides an opportunity for the community to learn more about progress on key projects and ambitions, and to offer their views and ideas as Ruthin looks to the Future post Pandemic.
Cyflwyniad
Dyfodol Rhuthun yw menter cynllun cymunedol Cyngor Tref Rhuthun a sefydlwyd yn 2011. Yn wreiddiol, prosiect Tywydd Cymru ac enillydd gwobr Gweithredu dros Drefi Marchnad yn 2012, ers hynny ffurfiodd y templed ar gyfer ymarferion Cynllunio Cymuned Cenedlaethol ledled Cymru.
Yn 2018 cychwynnodd Cyngor Tref Rhuthun ar Ddyfodol Rhuthun 2 - diweddariad y cynllun i helpu'r dref i wynebu heriau newydd megis dod o hyd i ddefnyddiau hyfyw ar gyfer adeiladau banc gwag, cynyddu nifer yr ymwelwyr â chanol y dref a sicrhau dyfodol cynaliadwy i'r cyfleusterau a'r amwynderau y mae'r dref yn eu cynnig ar gyfer ei chymuned. Nawr pob gwanwyn mae Cyngor Tref Rhuthun yn cynnal diweddariad Dyfodol Rhuthun, i ymgysylltu â'r gymuned, deall eu huchelgeisiau a'u pryderon, a'u diweddaru ar y mentrau sydd ar y gweill neu arfaethedig.
Mae Dyfodol Rhuthun 2022 yn rhoi cyfle i’r gymuned ddysgu mwy am gynnydd ar brosiectau ac uchelgeisiau allweddol, ac i gynnig eu barn a’u syniadau wrth i Rhuthun edrych tua’r Dyfodol ar ôl y Pandemig.

Mae'r syniadau a ddarlunnir yn yr arddangosfa yn adlewyrchu cyfleoedd posibl ac NID ydynt yn ddyluniadau diffiniedig sydd ar fin cael eu gweithredu. Mae'r cynigion yn uchelgeisiau amlinellol a ddatblygwyd i annog trafodaeth, sylwadau cymunedol ac i lywio ceisiadau grant a allai ariannu datblygiad pellach. Os daw cyllid ar gael, bydd yr uchelgeisiau, y syniadau a'r sylwadau'n cael eu defnyddio i ddiffinio briffiau prosiect i ymgynghorwyr eu datblygu'n fanylach drwy ymgynghori pellach ac unrhyw brosesau statudol sydd eu hangen.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
The ideas illustrated in the exhibition reflect potential opportunities and are NOT defined designs that are about to be implemented. The proposals are outline ambitions developed to encourage discussion, community comment and to inform grant applications that could fund further development. If funding becomes available, the ambitions, ideas and comments will be used to define project briefs for consultants to develop in more detail through further consultation and any statutory processes required.

Bydd Yr Hen Lys yn cynnal Arddangosfa Dyfodol Rhuthun am tua mis o ddydd Sadwrn 19eg Chwefror, yn Yr Hen Lys ar Sgwâr San Pedr.
Ar agor o 10.00am tan 4.00pm anogir preswylwyr*, perchnogion busnes a phawb sydd â diddordeb yn Rhuthun i alw heibio a chymryd amser i weld yr uchelgeisiau, y diweddariadau a'r prosiectau a amlinellwyd, a rhoi eu barn, adborth a syniadau.
Cynhelir rhaglen o ddigwyddiadau sy'n gysylltiedig â'r arddangosfa yn ystod y mis, gyda digwyddiadau a gweithgareddau wedi'u cadarnhau i'w gweld isod.

Exhibition 19.02.22 - 17.03.22
Yr Hen Lys will host the Ruthin Future Exhibition for approximately a month from Saturday 19th February, in Yr Hen Lys on St Peter's Square.
Open from 10.00am until 4.00pm* residents, business owners and all those with an interest in Ruthin are encouraged to drop in and take time to view the ambitions, updates and projects outlined, and give their views, feedback and ideas.
A programme of events associated with the exhibition will take place during the month, with confirmed events and activities shown below.
